Whilst on a gentle stroll, have you ever wondered what natural resources are all around you or what animals you are sharing the countryside with? By learning bushcraft skills you will start to appreciate the rural environment in a completely different way.
Each Saturday and Sunday during the Bedgebury Camping season the following bushcraft courses are run at the specified times. Please e-mail jim.henley@bedgeburycamping.co.uk to book.
Bedgebury Bushcraft has teamed up with local bushcraft experts to offer adults and children an introduction to bushcraft. Covering basic skills from foraging, shelter building, fire lighting, campfire cooking, knife skills and basher boat building.
All childrens classes are 1 hour courses for 6-12 year olds and 2 hour courses for adults and children over 12. Complete all 5 Childrens courses to become a Junior Bushcrafter. Courses take place each Saturday and Sunday, with an additional day over the bank holiday as detailed below:
If you'd like to combine your camping trip with a bushcraft course or would like further information on the bushcraft courses please send an e-mail to jim.henley@bedgeburycamping.co.uk or ring 01580 213487.
