Bedgebury camping

Located in Kent a short distance from Bedgebury Pinetum, the campsite is part of a 250 acre family farm located in a beautiful valley in the Weald of Kent. The central camping area provides water edge camping alongside a small stream, next to a wooded oasis where kids can play and build camps.

We open the farm for the whole of August for tent camping. The campsite is located 0.5km off the road down a farm track, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, making it quiet and secluded, and safe for children.

The camping ground covers over 45 acres, so it never feels overly crowded. Friends and families can camp in groups and are free to pitch where they please within the allocated fields. Campfires are allowed, with firewood available at reception and in the evenings by delivery.

We want to make getting back to nature as painless as possible. It is normally possible to park by your tent, however we may ask that you keep your car in the car park during your stay depending on conditions.

Camping activities

During the day you can stay on site and enjoy the space, alternatively you can go walking with access to an array of public footpaths. You could also take a days excursion to a number of local attractions including Bedgebury Pinetum (5 mins away), Bewl Water (10mins), Scotney Castle (15 mins), Sissinghurst Gardens (30mins), Hastings and others (please ask at reception). Events are being held at a number of these locations throughout August.

Bedgebury camping is committed to providing you with a genuinely individual service that is both highly enjoyable and environmentally sustainable.
